Fast Personal Loans

It seems we really can't go too far without seeing some form of fast personal loans:

They're online, you can find a fast loan online within seconds of plugging into the great Cyber-space.
They're in strip malls, and some even have their own buildings - Checks Cashed, Payday Advances, a fast loan for all seasons.
They are even finding their way into traditional banking institutions, the banks finally realizing the incredible profit potential of fast, short term, unsecured loans.

And America, it seems, just can;t get enough. We keep on applying, keep on demanding more options and more developments making the fast personal loan ever faster. And for what - a few seconds gained? Getting our money a few minutes earlier than expected? In or opinion its not enough - fast personal loans are already too fast!

Too much of a good thing
For only a very small number of legal reasons are fast personal loans actually necessary - anything that can be handled by cash in an hour can probably be handled just as well by cash in 2, 5, even 10 hours. What would we gain by that extra time?

Greater security measures protecting our sensitive financial information.
Stronger requirements, protecting the people who can't handle the financial stress form accessing these most stressful financial tools.
We would gain more time to consider the actual application and use of these fast personal loans rather than applying on a sudden urge and regretting the decision later on.

Call us old, call us overly cautious, even call us anti-democratic - we believe fast personal loans have passed a limit and the evolution of speed needs to be curtailed. Or at least monitored, maybe offering fast personal loans only to return customers, as they do with faxless loans today.

Yes indeed. There is a lot to be thankful for when it comes to fast emergency financing - but the negative impact of fast personal loans is so great that its become more a hazard than benefit.
